Who we are and what is our goal

We Scan Tickets aims to be advanced, yet simple to use. Here we highlight our story over the last 4 years and we look forward to playing a big part in the event industry.

May 2017

Full-time Developers

Our full time developers have been working on the system since June 2017, Since then the entire dashboard and checkout have been re-engineered with the latest solutions and technology.

April 2015

Scanning Setup version 2

Moving into modern technology we found that using a smartphone custom built app was more efficient and more user friendly then handheld scanners and, so we released our first public android scanning app to the app store.

June 2014

Integrated with Stripe

This opened the functionality of the system because stripe opposed to PayPal is designed for developers. This easily allowed us to create tools like refunds, connected fees, and ultimately allows organisers to be paid directly.

April 2014

Invested in first scanning setup

Our first scanning solution was to use handheld laser 2d image scanners. We created a local network on-site and had up to 7 scanners concurrently communicating.

August 2013

Incorporated as a limited company

In 2013 we realised the potential of scanning solutions for events. So, we decided to turn it into a limited company. We started by gathering clients through word of mouth and recommendations.

June 2012

Sold tickets for Mighty Dub Fest 2012

We Scan Tickets as a company started from one festival Mighty Dub Fest that looked to improve efficiency. The task was put to our young developer Andy Emmett who created the first software that successfully sold, emailed, and scanned tickets for Mighty Dub Fest 2012.
